White Nose In GA

White Nose Syndrome (WNS) moves closer to Georgia.

Reports in mid June show that WNS is VERY close to North Georgia. We have not read of a confirmed case in Georgia but southern Tennessee cases have been confirmed.  Sadly it seems inevitable that WNS will spread to bats found in Georgia as this fungus continues to spread.

We do not do WNS research, but because it affects our bat friends we are following WNS and helping in any way we can. This page is dedicated to bringing you current news and events concerning WNS in Georgia. As we overhaul our website we’ll make “proper” updates to this page.
