Future Mobile Bat Cave Project!
Our Dream for the future!

What is a mobile bat cave? Well, the mobile bat cave will be a trailer outfitted with bat educational materials and kiosks and live bats!

We will be able to take the mobile Bat Cave on site and visitors will get to experience the world of the bat learning about how they live and survive in the wild. You will get to hear real bat sounds and learn about bats. The planned highlight is a live bat enclosure.

Displaying live bats is our ultimate goal. We are working on making this happen but it is a large commitment on our part and will require funding to properly house and display bats that are either born in captivity or can not survive in the wild. Be wary of anyone promising to exhibit live bats, Georgia Law prohibits the exhibition of non-game wildlife as well as live bats except under very controlled conditions. We are seeking to meet these conditions and hope to bring the educational experience alive for kids so they can learn to respect and enjoy our bats.

When will this be a reality? Well, frankly we don't know. There are lots of obstacles in the way that will have to be conquered. This is our dream for the future so stay tuned!
