Bat Clinics and Talks

We get involved with our community!

Just a short talk...
Cheap to free, feed me and help cover fuel costs.

We offer a 30 to 45 minute talk about bats that covers the basics on bats including myths, suitable roosting environments and what to do if you encounter a bat. There is no set fee for this service. We do ask that you be prepared to make copies of materials to be distributed if possible. We rely on contributions to continue to make this service available locally. Availability subject to scheduling and travel distance. For booking information please email.

Bat Pup Workshop...
Fee: $50 plus mileage plus $8 per participant

The Bat Pup Workshop takes about 2 hours depending on how many attend. We begin with a brief introduction on bats and their importance in our ecosystem. Then we show a short video about bats after which the activities and crafts can begin. We provide the batty materials (coloring pages, paper glue ups etc...) for you to make something really batty with the kids! The activity varies for the age group and can be discussed ahead of time. Participants can also have their photo taken and we will electronically add a "batty" backdrop. Click for a Sample.
